Joyce's Christmas Letter

December 1, 2011

MY Dear Friend,

Greetings to you at this wonderful time of year! It is always such a 'special' time as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. I think of you and Praise the Lord, for your lovingkindeness and support over these many years. We have come a long way together and I appreciate you so much.

My daughter Susan has come home from Alaska to stay. It is so good to have her close. I never did get up to see her because I don't fly, due to my vestibular problem, so I hadn't seen her for quite sometime. All my immediate family live close now and they are all such a blessing. I praise the Lord for them.

I still keep busy as treasurer of my church, and I surely appreciate their patience with me. I appreciate our great Sunday School class and the heart-touching sermons by our pastor Mark Weinert. This Thanksgiving I think about all the friends, supporters, and prayer partners God has placed in my life and my heart rejoices at the loving kindness of each one. I am truly blessed by each of you.

I have been having some problems with my vestibular disorder lately because I've been unable to get the usual treatment. I would appreciate your prayer as I look for a new doctor who uses the same procedure that has kept me "in balance" these many years. Since my doctor retired I find that getting someone to use the same procedure is difficult. However, I still feel very fortunate for all the care that has been provided.

I would love to hear from all of you and hear your prayer requests. I'm so thankful that we have such a faithful God. May your Christmas be filled with joy and laughter and your new year full of God's blessings! Thank you so much for being a part of my life.

Love in Jesus,
Joyce P. Ward
