Steve and Mary have been with us since 1994. Mary works part time as a secretary, and as an aide in Hosanna Christian School's Pre-K class. She loves the cute things the kids say! Steve & Mary have 4 children: Amy is working in New Zealand; A.J. is in the Army; David is attending Multnomah University; and Rebekah is in High School. Steve loves to read literature and history. He roots for the SF Giants who have done well recently and for the 49ers... who have not. Wait a minute! Don't look now but the 9'ers are headed for the play-offs. Woohoo! |

Jeff has been on staff here at First E since 1999. My wife Phyllis is a grade school teacher and we have enjoyed 39 years together as husband and wife. We have 2 children and 7 grandchildren which is more blessing than we could have hoped for. Our son Kevin and his family live here in Vancouver, and our daughter Kristina and her family are in Leon Mexico working at planting churches. We enjoy the outdoors when weather permits and chase golf balls together when time allows. God has richly blessed us with family and friends and we eagerly approach each chapter of our lives as He causes them to unfold.

He's been blessed with a beautiful and loving wife, Stacia (Proverbs 31:10-31 all the way!), and four amazing wonderful children, Joshua, Alana, John, and Grace (Ps. 127:3-5 in the house!). He loves Jesus, his family, passionately teaching the Word of God, seeing people follow Jesus, watching football, playing games, reading about or watching historical documentaries, good science fiction, and a good laugh. |

Jonny has been on staff since 2008. He has a passion for worship and longs to see others develop a genuine love for God. He married Dana Smith on June 26, 2011; they enjoy singing and praising God together. Jonny is studying at Portland Bible College, he enjoys movies and reading theology books.

Justin and Niki Thoreson were married in 2009 and are loving every minute of it. Justin grew up at First E and has been helping with children's ministries since his early high school years. He now enjoys leading the Junior Highers with his wife Niki at his side. Justin loves playing games with kids, and his ever-present goal is to help them feel a part of God's family and to know they can be safe in it. Justin loves basketball and is one of the few remaining Blazer fans, for which he is often teased. |

David is a college student attending Multnomah Bible University. He has finished his freshman year and will proceed for another three years towards a bachelor's degree in Biblical theology and Pastoral ministry. David loves missions' and has a passion to reach the edges of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been on several missions trips including Africa and Haiti. His desire is to deliberately and continually seek Christ and his glorious presence with a sacred expectation that He will show him who He is.
