Living Free: Learning to Pray God's Word
March 26 - April 30

Because we love you and care about your health, we will be meeting virtually, and not physically together. The study can be done on your own at home and each week we will send out teachings you can view at your leisure online. We encourage your to pair up with someone else in the group and contact them weekly via phone or email.

Ready to replace false strongholds with true freedom in Christ? As you learn to pray Scripture with Living Free, you will realize the life God desires for you. Author Beth Moore explores the somewhat radical idea that we cannot please God by being perfect. The study begins by defining false strongholds, then focuses on five key benefits for every believer:
-Know God and believe Him
-Glorify God
-Find satisfaction in God
-Experience God's peace
-Enjoy God

Living Free includes 6 weeks of group study and 6 weeks of homework in a daily format that can be completed between group sessions.

There will be separate study groups for men and for women.

Note: We will meet March 19 and 26, and not meet during spring break (April 2). Sessions will continue on April 9, 16, 23 and conclude on April 30.

If you have a desire to deepen your knowledge of God and your love for God through a better understanding of scripture along with a desire to build friendships and support through fellowship with other Christian women, we invite you to join us as Women in the Word.

We will be meeting in the Fireside Room Monday nights from 6:00 -7:30 beginning January 27th through April 6th.  There will be no gathering on March 2 or March 30th.

Women in the Word is a different format! There will be no homework or half hour video commentary.  Instead, our time together will allow us: to have time for fellowship. 😊 Then after a brief introduction of the scripture for the session, time will be available for you to interact with the text in a variety of ways. After that, we can share our insights and questions as we discuss how we can apply what we learned about God’s character and direction for our lives.

In short, most of our time will be spent interacting in meaningful ways with God’s word and sharing with one another.

Our first series for Women in the Word will be working in Galatians, since we will already have some common understanding of the scripture thru Pastor Steve’s sermons. Pam and Amy will also be drawing from Max Lucado’s commentary on Galatians and Jen Wilkin’s Women of the Word as they prepare each week for you.

A donation of $ 5 is appreciated to help cover the cost of materials is appreciated but not necessary. Childcare will be arranged per request. Please let us know if you have any questions.

May the Lord bless you.

Your Sisters in Christ,

Pam Staples and Amy Rich
