Why We Exist

First E’s vision is to grow passionate followers of Jesus. Monday evening meetings and events give young adults the opportunity to connect and grow as part of the body, this is the “Love People” part of our faith. We exist to connect with other people our age by encouraging and challenging one another to be passionate disciples. Unlike children's ministry, we don’t have our own service. We attend the Sunday services to “Love God” through corporate worship, prayer and the preaching of the Word in addition to our Bible study on Monday nights. We also serve in other ministries in the church and community to “Serve the World.”

Who We Are:

A group of passionate Young Adults who love Jesus and are connected to the the ministry of the Church

Ephesians 4:4-6: There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

  • We make service/evangelistic projects a priority that challenge us to preach the gospel through act and word.

James 1:27: Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

  • We desire to welcome all who come and spur one another on to good works.

Hebrews 10:24: And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

  • We are a people grounded in the Truth of Jesus, His crucifixion, and resurrection.

Philippians 3:10: That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
