Giving Online
As Christians, we believe we are called to give a portion of our income back to the Lord. We do this not because God needs our money (He doesn't), but as a way to give thanks for what we have been blessed with and as a way to practice placing our faith and trust in Him.
Leviticus 27:30 says, “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord: it is holy to the Lord.” These gifts were a reminder that everything belonged to God and a portion was given back to God to thank him for what they had received. We view the tithe (10%) as a good starting goal for members of the church to earnestly consider.
Your generosity and faithfulness allows us to continue our mission of loving others and serving the world through our pastoral staff, community outreach and supporting our missionary partners beyond Clark County. When you give to First Evangelical Church online, you have the option to designate your gift to a particular area, but we ask that tithes remain undesignated so they can be used to meet our church's financial obligations.
The online giving platform we use is RebelGive and is safe and secure to use. There is a flat 25 cent ($0.25) fee per secure ACH (direct from bank account) transaction and a 2.3%* fee for debit and credit cards.
